Jesus didn’t hand out flyers or run long courses. He kept doing two things over and over: he healed and he set people free. When the disciples asked how, Jesus gave one prayer—one prayer that carries the power to do those works.
Dotheworks.org exists to restore that prayer and its power in your life—not for your sake, but so the people around you can experience healing and freedom.
Wish or command?
The common English version of the Lord’s Prayer reads like a wish for the future: Hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done. But the original Greek uses a commanding form—an immediate, forceful call for God’s Name, Kingdom and Will to act now.
Read plainly:
Your Name must be made holy.
Kingdom, I command you—come now.
I command the will of God to become reality here on earth, just as it is in heaven.
This is not a distant wish. It is a prayer for the present, and it expects results.
Why miracles lead to faith
The first line—Your Name must be made holy—is passive. That means someone who is not honoring God yet must come to honor Him. Prayer for miracles brings proof into people’s lives so they can believe.
Ask, then pray
Imagine your friend Sarah: she doesn’t believe, and she receives a cancer diagnosis. Ask her: “What could Jesus do to prove He is alive to you?” She’ll likely say, “Heal me.”
Then pray with authority:
Our Father in heaven,
Your Name must be made holy by Sarah.
Kingdom, come with your healing power!
Sarah, I speak the will of God over you, just as it is spoken in heaven:
Be healed in the name of Jesus.
For the Kingdom, the power, and the glory are God’s. Amen.
